General Guidelines

• All contributors must be 16+ in order to participate in the zine.
• All contributors must be willing to create at least one new piece, reusing work that has already been published will not be permitted.
• All contributors must have a Discord account or be willing to create one as Discord will be our main method of communication.
• All contributors are expected to treat mods and fellow contributors with kindness and respect.
• We ask that all contributors keep their Draw Four! zine-related works private until the zine is released. Mods will announce when previews of your work will be allowed shortly before the zine's release.
• All contributors must be responsive throughout the zine's timeline. While we understand that our contributors have a lot on their plates, slow or nonexistent communication will severely hinder the zine's progress. If you need extra time or need to drop out, please let a mod know as soon as possible so we can work with you!
• The use of AI or plagiarism of any sort will not be tolerated.
• Mods reserve the right to dismiss contributors at any time for violating zine guidelines.

Zine-Specific Guidelines

• For this zine, tabletop games will be defined as any game that can be played atop a table. These include board games, card games, dice games, tabletop roleplaying games, and anything similar.
Examples would be: Genius Invokation TCG, Tabletop Troupe, Uno, Pokemon TCG, Yugioh, Magic, Monopoly, Dungeons and Dragons (DnD), Catan, Clue, Jenga, Chess, etc.• We will be lenient on how the tabletop game is incorporated into your piece. The boys do not have to be actively playing the game; Cyno can be ripping booster packs to search for a certain card, Alhaitham can be preparing a DnD campaign, etc.
• To ensure a variety of tabletop games are showcased within the zine, there may be a limit on how many contributors are assigned to one tabletop game.• As this is a 4ggravate zine, all four 4ggravate boys MUST be included in your piece. However, contributors may choose to focus on one boy with the other three as supporting characters.
• Contributors may include other Genshin Impact characters in their piece, but the main focus MUST be on the 4ggravate boys.• For Page Artists: Pages are A5, Spreads are A4, RGB and 300 DPI.• For Merch Artists, dimensions will be based on the merch type you will be creating.• For Writers, fics will be a general 1000 words minimum and 3000 maximum. However if you need more words, please let the mods know!

Artist Guidelines

Artists
• Artist applicants will be asked to submit 3-5 of your best completed art pieces.
• At least one sample must include an illustrated background.
• If you’d like to create a comic for the zine, one sample must be a completed comic.
• Samples including Alhaitham, Cyno, Kaveh, Tighnari, or any Genshin Impact characters are recommended but not required.Merch artists applicants will be asked to submit samples based on the type of digital merch they would like to create for the zine.
• For example: If you would like to make emotes for the zine, please submit at least one emote sample.

Writer Guidelines

• Writer applicants will be asked to submit links to 3 samples of your best written work (via Google Docs links, direct AO3 links, etc.).
• All samples must be independently created. Collaborations with other writers will be not permitted.
• All samples must be between 1000-3000 words in length
• Excerpts of longer pieces are permitted; however, the excerpts must be able to stand alone.
• Do not only link your AO3 account as your sample. This will automatically disqualify you. Please submit links to the direct AO3 work.
• Samples including Alhaitham, Cyno, Kaveh, Tighnari, or any Genshin Impact characters are recommended but not required.
